| DESIGN NAME: The Flowing Laminated White Space PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: In the design of this small house, create visual richness and weaken the sense of building structure based on the stacking concept as well as enhance the sense of space hierarchy based on floating concept. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The naked structural beam seems merged into the laminated ceiling, creating a sense of elegance and layering feelings in whiteness. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Oak Marble Black iron Leather SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 115 sqm TAGS: InteriorDesign, Interior, Design, space, Space-eight, Taiwan, TW, house, residential, residence, home, style RESEARCH ABSTRACT: A flowing atmosphere of lights and shadows spreads rapidly in the air when opening the light on the hallway once arriving home, which seems like a reminder that it’s fully delightful when returning home. The gray dyed wood and gray stone which is cut by its material texture was installed on the tv wall,which shows the different features of the material. The granite lightboxes were arranged like lighting dots on this white space, offering a sense of atmosphere filled with lights and shadows flowing between the island and the hallway. The naked structural beam seems merged into the laminated ceiling, creating a sense of elegancy and layering feelings in whiteness. Behind the dining table several wooden boxes are bringing a vivid atmosphere when dining in the room. Closing the curtain seems as if insulating disturbance from the outside; a smooth leather material wall behind the bed creates a sleeping environment with high quality and comfort.
