RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With this collection i wanted to create furniture pieces which would be different but still be fictional and durable. This piece is part of a furniture line which I designed, the piece is inspired by nature. After the wood is cut using machine the piece is made by hand.Because we use hardwood in this project i decided to commit to planting trees to give back what we take from nature in considering the importance of conservation and the fight against global warming.
CHALLENGE: One of the biggest challenge of the project was to ensure that the despite the curves the settee is comfortable to sit on.
