| DESIGN NAME: Giorno - Notte PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wrist Watch INSPIRATION: Giorno/Notte born from the desire to innovate the traditional clock twelve hours and introduce a new reading of twenty-four hours. To do this the hour hand assumes greater importance than the one of the minutes and therefore becomes longer. This is the principle which facilitates his reading. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The unusual feature of this wrist watch is the fact that it shows twenty-four hours. The movement of the hours is highlighted by a circle that represents the sun, or the moon during the night, as it turns around a planet on the orbit of the hours, while a stylised arrow indicates the minutes in an inner circumference. Reading the hours will be instinctive than the conventional system, as it displays the circle of the whole day, twenty-four times slower than the minute hand. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: There are two version of Giorno/Notte. One is with case and watchstrap in stainless steel, the other is composed by a case in light alloy with PVD finish and the watchstrap in leather. Both are with quartz movement, sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Giorno Notte is a 24 hour wristwatch with a 34 mm case and a Swiss made movement.
