| DESIGN NAME: Sandalwood Sales Offices PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Offices INSPIRATION: The form of the stair is inspired by dragon. It embedded a meaning that the client’s business would fly like a flying dragon. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In this project, the Architecture and Interior space are both designed by Danny. The exterior of the sales office in Chengdu is formed by rectangular Glass curtain wall and steel structure. The Interior walls & floor is decorated by dolomite marble, or white colored finish to maintain consistency. The reception is surrounded with atmosphere released by the marble & the cloud alike hanging light. The feature of the design is the long matt black stairs that connect the ground floor & the first floor. It creates a contrast to the white interior. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The sales office is operating in an open space. The discussion area and display area located both ends. The idea is to create an open interaction between people, also the sense of space. This feeling also extended to the exterior. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in March 2016 in Chengdu City at China.
