| DESIGN NAME: Jelly Eye Collection PRIMARY FUNCTION: Glass Frames INSPIRATION: The most distinguished examples of glass workmanship obtained from Anatolian civilizations shed light on the history of "glass" in today. The glass we all know as man-made is a liquid, translucent or translucent material originally. With its hard and fragile shape, the glass used in the construction of many accents since antiquity has been transformed into glasses and sunglasses in a modern context. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The goal; To be innovative, sculptural wearable and useful designs. These substances, makes design different from others. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: These sunglasses give personality and charm to who wears them. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2016 in the U.S.A. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Glass with enhanced glass technology has been considered as the main material of the sunglass construction, and the polymer is transparent and translucent. The transparent appearance of the glass can be adapted to glasses and sunglasses, and in different shapes with different sizes, they can all produce unique unique forms. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: width 15 cm length 14 cm heigth 6 cm. Dimensions may vary. TAGS: Glass technology,eyewear,s RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research had the target to understand how to set the glasses: optical correction, inclination on the face, the length of the temples, the frontal opening, bridge above the nose. All of these are designed and calculated by considering a glasses designer. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to project an object, being used to the 3d production of glass form, having the need of knowledge about optic and about standing weights on the face. NAME: Zahide Betül Sahin PROFILE: She received his bachelor degree from the Department of Ceramic at Konya Selcuk University. She studied at Ceramic Department of Fine Art School in Marmara University in Istanbul. After working with many artists, she has founded her own brand and currently she is working on new accessory designs. Her purpose; to be innovative, sculptural, wearable, useful and artistic make designs. |
