| DESIGN NAME: Alia Silk Floral Dress PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fashion INSPIRATION: Fairytales were the inspiration for this dress. From the choice of the fabric to the cut. The fabric is exceptional 100% silk from Italy, it is very soft and fluid, and the floral print is absolutely stunning. The pastel colors add to the softness of the look. It looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale. The bust is measured and made to provide as much coverage and the lower part has additional fabric to that allows it to flow. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Comfort, functionality and timeless look are the key elements to the high-fashion inspired collections, working in a wide range of color pallets and fabrics as well as design style line. The collections are made up of structured and feminine separates as well as suits and dresses. For that added touch of luxury, the finest fabrics -whether from Switzerland, Italy, or elsewhere - have been carefully selected to care the most stringent demands of the modern woman. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Fabric is chosen, then i do the sketch and production is done by my manufacturer in Romania. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The collections are designed in Switzerland. Design and production is done within 4 months. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design |

TAGS: Ready-to-wear, luxury, formal wear, casual wear, designer dresses, separates, clothing for women RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Observation of what women wear during my years in the corporate world and interest in the female consumer who has a passion for high quality, up-market apparel, with timeless styles, that will make her stand out from the rest. CHALLENGE: Very particular with quality; the big challenge is sourcing good quality fabric. ie. 100percent cotton, 100percent silk.
