| DESIGN NAME: 4 Seasons Love PRIMARY FUNCTION: Book shelf INSPIRATION: The inspiration of the bookshelf is the color of a simple autumn leaves. Leyla Canbaz Gundem was in Montreal Canada, during her vacation. Autumn leaves were inspired her that made her fall in love. They reminded her 4seasons. She felt real love, nature love in her heart. She started to think about her life like a film ,Every each color sembolized each season. She classified her all life in the bookshelf . UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: More than a book shelf, an architectural construction, create a decidedly horizontal pattern, interrupted here and there by vertical metal segments with an irregular and eye catching division of the space. Formality of the project is complemented by on equaly possionate quest for the finest and most unusual materials ,creating a contrast .Thus the sheen of the iron polished matt (rustic)and the glossy gold(brass), rose gold(copper), black(titanium) polished matt and glossy finishes contrasts with the muted severity of the metal. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Leyla Canbaz Gündem is designed to maximize usable and accessible book shelf and divider stand under standard residential and commercial 2400mm ceilings. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was begun in October 2016 and completed in january of 2017 in Istanbul, Turkey. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Furniture Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design work-flow consisted of a basic design -narrative sketch,form and construction ideation with additional sketches,3d modeling in solid works.For production ,the iron profile and glass components for this furniture are milled with handcrafted, made of rustic gold color finished high grade painting, Copper , Titanium,Brass color painted are used for the panel decoreted. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 2900 mm x Depth 250 mm x Height 2300 mm custom made design for high-end marked. TAGS: 4 Season Love, book shelf, seperator wall, divider furniture , RESEARCH ABSTRACT: She performed some art, painting image research of a wide variety of book shelf ,library,trendy material and durable material for timeless usage. Calculating dimension are respected golden ratio, We catch balanced, hormony, negatif anf positive space for arrange different colors metal panels. CHALLENGE: The most difficult challenge came in calculating golden ratio .
