| DESIGN NAME: Residence of Consonance PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: On the basis of creating the contemporary relaxing atmosphere for residency, the designer has brought into existence a residence in harmoniously-connect UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: After coming in the villa from the parking lot on the ground floor, people shall see the glass wall embedded with iron works and the double acting door, which give rise to a simple but majestic entrance hall, where people may see the living area in the back space of villa, the design skill connecting the indoor atmosphere harmoniously with the outdoor Japanese-style garden. The black-and-grey stone wall, in the garden, has reminded people of the image of ink paintings that relive mindset from disturbing factors such as noisy and crowded urbane environment. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: On the basis of creating the contemporary relaxing atmosphere for residency, the designer has brought into existence a residence in harmoniously-connect PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in October 2015 in Tainan City, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the private secured bedroom, painted in grey and white, the designer furnishes this space with the dark wooden floor and furniture, and the dim lighting, the style of design bringing the element of tenderness in a cold contemporary style, and bringing into existence the warm atmosphere specifically for home in the modern atmosphere of the space. The distinctive design methods, such as cold and warm, and silence and light, have become the elements building up a one-of-a-kind villa via the applications of space plans, materials arrangements, and artistic aesthetics. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 566 square meters TAGS: Residence RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Located next to the outskirt area of metropolitan in the hot Southern Taiwan, the villa, of contemporary modest style, is built by the application of smooth lines and precise scales. The tender colors, such as black, white and grey, have given rise to the facade of the building, on which the silvery messerschmidia has brought out a pleasant view at the villa. CHALLENGE: Stepping upward along the dazzling staircase to the second floor, people will see the main public area composed of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Applying the similar sharp and neat style, shown from the façade colors which are black, white and grey, the designer decorates the living room with the delicate dark stone wall, and with the white ceiling and floor, the design skill bringing into existence the abundant visual effects.
