| DESIGN NAME: SYNTHESIS PRIMARY FUNCTION: FW 2017 18 Collection INSPIRATION: Synthesis 2017 18 fall winter collection is the perfect reflection of glamour of the palace culture with the modernity of the plain silhouettes harmony. Inspired by the modern women of the Dolmabahce palace.A perfectionistic, feminine silhouette has been created to reflect the powerful, elegant and eye catching image of Synthesis. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The 2017 2018 fall winter collection evolves around variations on palace colours. All this colors mixed up together in garments, reflecting the amazing aspect of modern women of the Dolmabahce palace. Baroque patterns, specially designed fringes, jacquard and metallic leather constitute the core of Synthesis collection. The collection features texture and rag techniques, folding and overlapping details with double faced fabrics, all of them carrying symbols of the past and forms of the future. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The collection includes 27 items PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: In 2016 she had the opportunity to present her fw 2017 2018 collection with fashion show in Excelcior Hotel Gallia in Milan during the Republic Day of Turkey by the organization of Turkish Consulate of Milan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The collection features texture and rag techniques, folding and overlapping details with double faced fabrics, all of them carrying symbols of the past and forms of the future. Baroque patterns on the jacquard surface and specially designed fringes, supported by shimmering effect of gold leather constitute the core of Synthesis collection. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 10 outfits , size 36 TAGS: fashion, fashion designer, womenswear, knitwear, istanbul, baroque, jacquard, milano, feminine silhouette RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Synthesis 2017 18 fall winter womenswear collection produced in under a month. Each fabrics specially designed and produced by traditional producer. CHALLENGE: It was a challenging part to produced to each fabric specially designed by traditional producer. It took an efforts to find the right producer. The other challenges were difficulties with finding knitwear supplier that would have appropriate colors as most yarn collections have quite pale color cards. Over than 80 producers, only several of them agreed to produce.
