DESIGN NAME: ROTOR
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lamp
INSPIRATION: When we designed Rotor we were inspired by Russian avant-garde but we wanted to shift it in a modern way by adding a Scandinavian simplicity and lightness thats why Rotor looks like a soaring gear in the movement.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Due to the use wooden slats Rotor suitable for different interiors. We also thought about the functionality and technology: Rotor is easy to assemble, easy to hang up and easy to clean.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Electrical connection 110/220V through the terminal block. Power is supplied to the lamp by the clear two-wire cable.
Opal acrylic diffuser disperses the light from the light bulbs
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: due to the use opal diffuser Rotor provides soft light
The color temperature and brightness is determined by light bulbs

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Rotor consists of carved on the co2 laser veneered oak or American walnut MDF slats, coated with a protective oil and wax. The slats inserted at an angle to the made on cnc base of aluminium composite panel. From the bottom lamp closed by opal diffuser made of plexiglass so that the bulbs are invisible. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Rotor is available in three sizes: 450х120, 540х120 and 650х120 mm.
Light weight: from 2000 till 4000 g depend on model
Easy adjustable length.
Rotor is equipped with 4 lampholders for led bulbs.
You can easily pull the slats to clean the chandelier.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The two main factors in the development of rotor were workability and aesthetics. Workability is defined by our equipment, as well as the maximum constructions simplicity. The Rotor is easy to assemble, it is light and very reliable. Thinking about the aesthetics, we wanted to create a chandelier that would not be like any other, so we decided to string classical materials (oak and American walnut) and modern form. So Rotor will look great in any interior!
CHALLENGE: Accurately representing our future chandelier we immediately received the necessary form
However, it was technical difficulties: it was necessary to choose the correct mount point, to choose right materials of base and diffusergn because we wanted to make Rotor reliable
