We focused on details that were unique to the local conditions. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The entrance hallway is Italian marble on the floors, walls and ceiling. In order to make us of the whole space, pieces of marble tiles were used. The marble we chose has a distinct wood-like pattern with horizontal veins. Altogether one third of the materials used was marble. The lighting system was embedded in the lower shadow line of the walls and in the ceiling. This layout of the lights helps achieve a sense of elegance and class and is reflected throughout the room.

Our goal is to emphasis the unique character of the bund. First of all ,we collect and arrange the urban environment surrounding the project. The Bund area come together in clouds with the embodiment of the noble style of the building. It's very consist with the historical heritage of this piece of land.
One of the major challenges we faced was the weight of the marble, we need to carefully construct our design to support the weight of the marble on ceiling. We also needed to make sure that our design was perfectly straight and symmetrical. All of the veins of the marble needed to be straight and continuous from floor to ceiling. Therefore, the marble also had to be carefully selected so there would be no breaks in the flow of the design.
