| DESIGN NAME: Aura Cebilon Plus ICM Rexwat PRIMARY FUNCTION: Water Purifier INSPIRATION: These systems take up a lot of space under the sink because storage tank is outside of the devices. So they do not seem elegant. Also there can be water leakages in these devices. In these devices filter changes are too difficult. In peers filter material mounted to the stable filter housings in the devices so hands of worker or technical services touch to the filter material on the product line or technical service. In these devices there can be mold formation since there is no air hole. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It produces drinking water, is more compact with interior storage tank. Access to filters and filter change are very easy with removable covers and special filter design. It has five filtration stages. Our filters are more hygienic according to its peers. Because there is no hand touching to the filter materials in the production line. In the case of water leakage, our product closes the water inlet and prevents flood. Our device has ventilation holes in order to prevent formation of molds. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The product have 5 filtration stage. A sediment filter to trap big particles, granule activated carbon filter to trap organic chemicals and chlorine, block carbon filter to trap organic chemicals and chlorine and carbon dust that may escape from the second stage, reverse osmosis membrane to remove many types of molecules and ions from water, including bacteria, mineralized post carbon filter remove remaining tastes and odors from the product water, adds healthy minerals to the water. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Project started in July 2016 in Isatnbul, Turkey and finished in September 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey an was exhibited in Canton Fair in 2016. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We use plastic injection to produce plastic parts. They are produced with masterbatch. The filter housings and caps are fixed to each other with spin and ultrasonic welding in our devices. We use sticker for labeling. Our device has a pressure pump that need 24 vdc electricity. Also it does not work when our storage tank is filled. So it is energy saving. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Its dimensions are Width 270 mm x Depth 400 mm x Height 385 mm. Its weight is 12.5 kg. TAGS: Reverse Osmosis, Water Treatment, Undercounter, Residential, Healthy and Delicious Water RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Totally, we have over 90 distributors in our country and in the world. We got informations about what their customers demand with making meetings with our distributors. And we made improvements on our previous device according to what the customers demanded. And our device got positive feedbacks after entering the market. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this design is to fit all the filters and parts into the device that has these dimensions. Also it was hard to ensure the watertightness of the filter housings which were made by spin and ultrasonic welding machines.
