| DESIGN NAME: The idea of Multifunctional Screen PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: In response to intensive gathering in client's home, the designer takes a bold action in designing the living and dining room, such that a spacious place makes everyone feel comfortable. Furthermore, the leather and clothes couches, the sharp log chairs, famous animal-style chairs, furniture with diverse characters, etc. show the hostess personality in hospitality, generosity, and unrestraint. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The "multifunctiona OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Inspired from the general screen, the designer invents the "multifunctiona PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in December 2015 in Taichung City. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: By having a mental condition of being young and the same interest in collecting stylish shoes with daughter, the personality traits of the hostess inspire the designer innovatively in planning the overall configuration, which leads to the invention "multifunctiona SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 235square meters TAGS: Residence RESEARCH ABSTRACT: After realizing the communication and working progress, in this project, between the client and designer, I find that the interaction, between them, about remodeling this residence is joyful and pleasant, so that the designer put himself out there in planning the whole thing with aggressive and flexible strategy. CHALLENGE: When stepping further in the residence, through a long corridor that connects the porch, dining room, living room, main bedroom and stylish lights, we can see an amazing wall painting that presents another concept of "screen." The mechanism of the wall painting spares the big bedroom a small porch and a dressing room, the function distinguishing the public and private space in the same room.
