| DESIGN NAME: The Large Residence and the Open Terrace PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design Of Residence INSPIRATION: The design, which introduces daylight from three sides of the building, strengthens the interaction between human beings and environment by means of the large interior space, windows, and big terrace. Meanwhile, the family members can feel the sun, nature, fresh air, and mountain views when they experience the convenience of the city. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: After coming in, we can see the public area composed of the living room, dining room, and open kitchen. The designer creates the calm and introvert atmosphere, by using white as the main color, log floor in walnut finishing, the grey-grained marbles, and contemporary white couch. As the essential part for a family, the dining room and kitchen are connected by a kitchen island and dining table, which make the family relationship closer. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design, which introduces daylight from three sides of the building, strengthens the interaction between human beings and environment by means of the large interior space, windows, and big terrace. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: There is a large terrace outside the French window of the dining room, the exterior space where the wooden floor and ceiling, plantings beside the handrails, and hanging chairs, creates the relaxing atmosphere and close interaction, between nature and environment, in the restrained urban space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 230 square meters TAGS: Residential Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Located at the emerging redevelopment zone on the skirt of city center, the large architecture has great view because it is surrounded by the individual four- to five-floor buildings. CHALLENGE: The bedrooms is furnished with white walls and dark wooden floor, used in the public space as well, that the designer decorates the bed wall with shell mosaic, creating sophisticate and delicate variations in a contemporary modern residence.
