| DESIGN NAME: Sea of Fertility PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design of Hotel INSPIRATION: This is what we call "Kenting," the most famous resort at the southern Taiwan. Adjacent to the renowned "Chuanfan Rock," the wide hilly land extends from the coastline to the inland, where people can see a British-style building as if walking in the European country manor. This is a family-managed villa that individual building is independent but assembling harmoniously. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Along with the hillside landscape and ocean scenery, the buildings are situated in irregular patterns. The relaxing and comfortable style has been created by the British-style facade of the buildings. The second floor is mainly composed of five double rooms, in which the guests not only experience the beautiful scenery at Kenting, but also feel the life of journey, the design making the resort like home. On the basis of this concept, the designer creates different themes in each double room. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Adjacent to the renowned "Chuanfan Rock," the wide hilly land extends from the coastline to the inland, where people can see a British-style building as if walking in the European country manor. This is a family-managed villa that individual building is independent but assembling harmoniously. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in February 2016 in Pingtung County, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The relaxing and comfortable style has been created by the British-style facade of the buildings, the space of white walls and red bricks, the delicate structure made of cornices, circular arch and baluster, and the lush plantings and palm trees. The restaurant is on the ground floor, in which the transparent style of buffet bar is designed by a number of French windows. It is the place where people eat when appreciating the beautiful outdoor scenery meanwhile. The bright daylight is introduced into the room where the guests can enjoy the passion and warm life style. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 500 square meters TAGS: Hotel RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Adjacent to the renowned "Chuanfan Rock," the wide hilly land extends from the coastline to the inland, where people can see a British-style building as if walking in the European country manor. This is a family-managed villa that individual building is independent but assembling harmoniously. CHALLENGE: The second floor is mainly composed of five double rooms, in which the guests not only experience the beautiful scenery at Kenting, but also feel the life of journey, the design making the resort like home.
