| DESIGN NAME: Diamond PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wall Mounted Sinks INSPIRATION: The meeting of metal and the ceramic handled with the care of a jeweler, which turns the habitats into a graceful diamond... The vertical washbasin accompanied by diamond forms, the lines and its complementary glittering division, and the sophisticated mirror design that will remind the guests looking into it how special they are... UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: With the complementarity of the golden fixtures, hexagonal soap dispenser and tumbler holder, Diamond is a rewarding choice for a perfect start to the day. As valuable as the diamond, from which the washbasin draws the inspiration of its form, the ceramic is complemented by the metal components similar to a diamond showcased on a ring. The metal pedestal as the supporting material for the ceramic creates a set with fixtures and accessories that complement it in terms of color and form. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The meeting of metal and the ceramic handled with the care of a jeweler, which turns the habitats into a graceful diamond... PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The materials used are ceramic and metal painted in golden tones. Sink modeled in sanitary standards (rules) is designed for ceramic. For metals, the process is completed with the profiles cut at the required angles, welded and coated with suitable colors. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 450*900*400mm TAGS: Ceramic, diamond, metal, cage, doglegged, basin. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The effects of diamonds and precious stones on humans is well known. It is given as a present to honor a person or make her feel special.It is aimed to make people feel more special in their daily bath areas.At the same time, this work has been done to make the time spent in their area of use more valuable. CHALLENGE: During the designing process of this product, the idea of imposing a feeling and the effort of making it different have been challenging. NAME: Berk Aril PROFILE: Born in Ankara 1987, Berk Arıl discovered his interest in art in his childhood years. Thus, he attended the department of music at fine arts high school. While he was continuing his study at Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Ceramics in 2006, he put his designs into action through ceramic fabrics. For master he studied interior architecture in Maltepe University. He still continues design and production activities. |
