| DESIGN NAME: Space Design Team PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: The design is inspired by the recent trend of modern design with an accent of Euro- Victorian style, while it was also the transformation from the client's given pictures of her existing house. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design is unique, stylish yet functional. This modern design with accent of Euro-Victorian style is welll depicted in its furniture style, the well-matched Babel Chairs, glossy and gross marble pattern floor tiles, and the special use of white on all walls. The style and taste of the design can also meet with the mature couple. The home is luxury, clean and stylish. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Interaction occured in the dedicated chosen furniture, decorative accessories, lighting effects, and various well-matched materials in the interior. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2015 until February 2016 at Sai Wan Ho, Grand Promenade, Hong Kong FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: - SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: grand, luxurious, cozy home, modern with euro-victorian style, subtle RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research was launched at the very beginning on the client's need, design taste, detailed measurements taken on the apartment to propose initial design concept, study on the structural aspects of the apartment on how to enhance its inner beauty while eliminate the shortcomings. Every samll parts as a result share one very important detail with the designer's final concept. It perfectly fits the space and style. CHALLENGE: Time limitation serves quite an essential challenge to the overall design as it finally turns into real and practical. Creative concept, research, fit into details, cope with client's various input, management of the projects, all are the hardest parts on this design acticity.
