| DESIGN NAME: Echoed Natural Landscape PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: The main purpose of this design case is to remove those luxuries and let the dweller feel comfortable between the conversation of design and environment. Considering the geographical environment, humanity and space, designer implant natural rustic stone to make people feel cozy living in this house. It also imply simple a message life can also be found in the city. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Leisure is the theme of the design, the open and semi-open area make the vision capacious, the comfortable and stress release as the main emphasis of the whole plan. The landscape view and inner space integrate, construct multivariate and abundant feeling. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The characteristics of materials created different layer of vision, at the same time strengthen the variability of space, elongate the natural, comfortable atmosphere from living room. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Complete time: February, 2015~April, 2016 Location: Taipei, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Grey travertine behind the sofa corresponds with shape of Guan Yin Mountain and Yang Ming Mountain. The main wall uses Côte d'Azur Stone which is correspond with the riverside view. Public area and bedroom uses wooden floors to express natural charm. Besides, cotton and linen fabric elements had implant into the space to represent gentle, create pleasant impression of life. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The interior space is around 200m2. To echo the natural surroundings, the public area had designed into open and semi-open area, causing smooth, relax and comfortable linear. The texture and characteristics of material refresh the space, creating generous and wide vision. TAGS: Keystone Interior Design , residence, Interior Design, Interior, Design, space, Interior Architecture, Taiwan, Taipei RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Although we live in the city, it is relax to spend time with friends and families, this is the reason why dweller chose the building near hill and riverside as his home. The design team understands the dweller needs, explore the possibilities to live comfortably and relax in the city. First of all, uses natural materials apart from popular codes, summed up innovation method to create natural atmosphere, which respond to the natural environment outside of the building. Using delicate method to handle the rough texture, create the atmosphere which satisfies the dweller. CHALLENGE: Designer has to consider the height ratio between the ceiling and windows, at the same time brought in the precious view and sunlight into the house.
