PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We have used Water base paint, according to IGBC norms. Paints may contain chemicals called Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and other toxic components that evaporate into the air and are harmful to the health of the occupants. VOC’s are primary contributors to smog generation. Water Base paints are low and zero VOC paints which have little or no smog-forming emissions. This helps reduce sources of pollutants during the construction process and in finished interiors. They have no or very little odor.
Also, we have used Rubio Monocoat which Protects and colours the wood in one single layer! Rubio Monocoat is environmentally friendly oil, based on a revolutionary technology! It is Free of water and VOC, Colors and protects through molecular bonding, Gives Durable protection, Has No overlaps, Is Time-saving (coloring and protecting in one layer), Is Easy to repair, It Has Unique colors.
Also, we have placed Natural Greenwall in the Dining area. Green walls are a surefire way to enhance the visuals, improve air quality as well as energy levels. It creates a good atmosphere and environment. Over the past half century, a notable increase of urban-living seekers has led to a considerable uptick in air pollution and loss of green spaces. Green walls (also commonly referred to as vertical gardens or living walls) are a wonderful solution for any property interested in improving their space with intrinsic benefits of nature. Living green walls infuse the dull expanse of interiors with life-renewing greenery. They offer an inspirational and aesthetically intriguing natural boost

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design of the pent house is first and foremost ‘an attempt to play with a non-orthogonal geometry’, an exercise involving volumes and sections that arise out of a response to the sun path, shade and wind. The result is an innovative form, with a roof that descends and envelops the house, in the process becoming both a wall and a sun shading device. The angled roof wraps over the dwelling and falls in the manner of a vein or headscarf, partially obscuring the interior of the house from its neighbors.
The design process is largely intuitive, interlocking double volumes have been created internally, light is captured, and the angled false ceilings encourage the flow of the prevailing breezes.
CHALLENGE: The pent house is located in a scheme where already 4 pent houses are designed by us. The previous pent houses had the same plans.
Hence, we had to design a different house altogether. This was the main challenge and we accepted it and created a new concept with the help of light and shadows.
