| DESIGN NAME: Relax Beside Nature PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Design INSPIRATION: A space owning the entire mountain sight and sea view, huge windows and spacious terrace composes the prior requirements of a villa. Besides, it features the traveling lover of host and hostess who share their living taste and pleasure of life with friends. Combining the congenital conditions and residents living style of this place, the main idea of this work design is born-a villa of reservation. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Using solid woods with aroma, blended with a huge area of while floor, it generates cold feeling out of the visual effect. The contrast of imitating steel girders of restaurant floor to the wood creates layering as well as third dimensional effect. Taking good use of the slots of -shaped steel girders, the dazzling glare of the casted light is softened and the hidden light is limited onto the designated area to show the light and its shadow, color temperature and the lines of the lights. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The large-spaced master bedroom is divided into activity area, sleep area, and sofa viewing area. The entrance of the area is designed as the functional activity area. Combination of the headboard with the low wall divides the space into different areas, which creates a beautiful outlook and a sense of visual penetration. With multi-window view and the location facing mountains and seas, the area facing the window is designed as the viewing area. The evening sunset brings us infinite imagination and relaxation. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design of "double slanting," by giving a two-way lamplights to make the slanting degree more obvious, the existence of the beam pillar is eliminated. The correspondence of the up-and-down fits into the atmosphere of the tea area. The texture of wood makes the plane layer of the house into a detached vacation villa. The use of H-beam girders reduces the direct and dazzling lights setting forth from the steel, a hidden light, which limits the light we need to converge into a certain scope, which creates lights and shadows, color temperature, and lines of lamplight. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 350 square feet. TAGS: Villa,Residential space, sight seeing, nature, seaside RESEARCH ABSTRACT: A visual-connection space encompasses different categoreis of space. The living room is located in the center of the public area, in whihc the space can be used individually and combinatorily without any disturbance from one another. The step between the open tea area and the couch platform area can be used as the chair in the tea area. The areas facing outward, includinf the internet area, the wine tasting area, and reading/ viewing area, are a row of couch platform adjoining the tea area. CHALLENGE: The tea area and the upper space of the TV cabinet have one large beam pullar which is used to separate the space. We apply the concept of "slanting roof" used on a cabin to the design. The correspondence of the up-and-down fits into the atmosphere of the tea area. The texture of wood makes the plane layer of the house into a detached vacation villa.
