| DESIGN NAME: 125 Years Unicer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition INSPIRATION: The '125 years building the future' exhibition was created with the purpose of celebrating, mostly with all the internal team, the 125th anniversary of Unicer, the largest Portuguese drinks manufacturer, which belongs to the Carlsberg company. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Omdesign advertising agency has created a 'maze', transporting visitors from the foundation of Unicer, in 1890, to the present day. As the visitors go through the space, it is possible to learn about and get in touch with the history of this Portuguese brand and feel the progress of the company over the years, step by step. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The 'maze' is made up of several spaces laid out in chronological order and decorated in the style of the different historic periods, reflecting the past, the present and also projecting the future of the company, which is now present in several countries on the five continents. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in the beginning of December 2014 in Porto (Portugal) and finished in March 2015. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: All of the settings, such as lights, films, music and items, were carefully selected by the agency for this special exhibition, intending to accompany the changing times and recreate each period in question, authentically. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This is an exhibition. TAGS: Unicer, Carlsberg, Beer, Exhibition, Anniversary, Omdesign, Portugal RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Omdesign made a large research, mostly about each different period related to the Unicer's history, in order to best decorate and associate all spaces to its specific style. CHALLENGE: The main challenge was to select the most important moments, personalities and stories that marked 125 years of the largest Portuguese drinks manufacturer while recreating them.
