Quinta de Ventozelo olive oil
For this work, Omdesign agency took inspiration from the tree in which olives grow, as they are the main ingredient for the production of this typically Portuguese product – olive oil. This emblematic tree is prominently embossed on the label as well as on the packaging of the Quinta de Ventozelo olive oil.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is an extra virgin olive oil, extracted from the best olives grown into the centenaries native varieties that belong to this Portuguese emblematic estate, located on the left bank of the Douro. Along this 400-hectare estate, 30 hectares are made of olive groves.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Quinta de Ventozelo olive oil is presented in an elegant bottle with a differentiating design, as well as its external packaging.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in May 2015 in Porto (Portugal), with the creation of the bottle, and finished, in May 2016, with the launch of the external packaging.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
This olive oil has been sold under a 500-ml bottle in glass inside an external packaging that was made with premium cardboard.

Quinta de Ventozelo is one of the largest and oldest Douro estates, founded in 1870. Recognised for the production of wine, the company decided to produce and launch in the market this premium olive oil, a very Portuguese product, as well as the wine.
Omdesign had the challenge to create a special design and packaging for this product, reflecting the premium character of the limited edition olive oil Quinta de Ventozelo.
