UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An mechanical interactive artwork is installed on the ceiling of the living room. The giant machine runs in a circular motion and some parts of it rotate constantly. It simulates the rotation principle between planets and stars. A message is conveyed through the astronomical concept that even the family might fall apart sometimes, but once they have the boundary and love each other, no matter the distance is close or far away, they will eventually reunite and be together.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
When the guest come to this house, they might not realize the moving ceiling at first, but later they will find out that it is rotating like a watch, and this dynamic movement surprises them a lot.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in July 2013 in Guizhou and finished in January 2014 in Guizhou.

The design of the giant interactive installation art ceiling at the living room is based on the astronomical concept that because of gravitation, the sun, planet and stellar are formed a rotation principle and never fall apart. This installation art is to interpret the ever-lasting love between families.
The installation art ceiling is the biggest challenge in this project. First, the budget was a big obstacle because this is a very new idea. Second challenge was the installation process. Everything should be calculated precisely, but there were still some unexpected problems on the scene. Fortunately, by everyone's effort, the work is finally completed and the result is satisfying
