| DESIGN NAME: Deconstruction of Light PRIMARY FUNCTION: House INSPIRATION: “Architecture is frozen music,” said Goethe. Designers programs the pace of life base on the structure of building. Exclude the ornate decoration, it create a simple, harmonious atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is an apartment with entresol. Therefore, the furniture and color have to display on the basis of lower ratio. Designers highlight the television wall which extends to second floor, make perfect connection between two floors. The exquisite technique of the television wall makes resonate between dweller and space, create beautiful desire. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Designers make an arrangement of light under the staircase, the fresh design generate contrast between light and gradation, display the classic charm. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Complete time: June, 2014~August, 2015 Location: Taipei, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials Conduct Graceful Concept Stone, wall covering, special glass and oak in group infuse graceful concept. It is also a medium which could effectively release stress. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The Original Flavor in the space of 265 sqm, designers use petrified wood and weathered wood which have natural texture as the raw material of staircase. Contrast technique leads the natural light passes through the staircase, the multi-angle light create an ordinary scene. TAGS: FE Design, residence, Interior Design, Interior, Design, space, Interior Architecture, Taiwan, home, house RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The extension and transformation between two floors create a space contain both vertical and horizontal. The antagonistic relationship give a clear define to space, at the same time construct a fashionable and ideal home. CHALLENGE: To lead the light into the staircase is the most difficult element on this case. The natural textures of both sides lead the natural light, the trace of time reflected on the surface of material, make people feel comfortable and relax.
