Before proposal, the designer recognized the interior layout is parallel to a half hexagon. Thus, hexagonal element is taken as essential design symbol in this barber shop by applying various combination of hexagonal array and mosaics in diverse materials and technique.In this sense, each functional area is connected relevantly. Meanwhile, it allows every part of the interior has their characteristics. Visitors in it are pleased to experience a distinctive visual feast.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
hexagonal black and white mosaics, stainless steel plate walls, and large circular mirrors are the defining features that characterize the stylish barber shop located in wuxi, China.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Different from common barber's shops, this one tends to convey that fabulous art is able to blend commercial space that seems to be hard to make a completely new look. This artistic barber shop embraces simplicity, fashion, and craftsmanship instead of fancy appearance. They hope customers could WOW for the wind of industry design as they enjoy wellness.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
black-white hexagonal Mosaic tile, stainless steel mould board, galvanized bronze stainless steels, wood composite floor and spray iron plate.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
During planning the layout, the designer found that the form seems like a half hexagon. Thus, hexagonal arrangements and patterns becomes key design elements. On the other hand, the developer didn't want a barber shop which is not different from those common ones in the local. With such unique ambiance, young generations are able to find their special self-satisfaction in certain way.
Large area of concrete painted tiles adorned plated metal strips mounting constellation graphics encourages the barber exquisite and stylish.
