| DESIGN NAME: Embrace PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Space INSPIRATION: When this project began, the daughter of the homeowner was preparing to get married. As the communication process progressed, the time for the wedding drew closer, accompanied by revealing feelings among family members. The essence of home is a structuring of emotions, represented in the forms of warmth, affection, and harmony within the home. This project focused on how to infuse love and care into an environment and satisfy about the future. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: An embrace is a gesture used to express emotion. When it is expressed between family members, it soothes the emotion of yearning and at the same time incorporates expectations and responsibilities. In this project, embrace is the main theme of the spatial design. We planned a simple, subtle, and creative method to describe the warmth and harmony of a home, exhibiting cordial affections. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Reflective material was used as a window to produce a spatial dialogue. A simple vertical body, streamline ceiling, and wood texture observe one another through the mirror and visually interact. This represents how family members can see one another even when they are at opposite ends of the house and symbolizes harmony within the family. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: By using simple vertical and horizontal elements to outline the screen and cabinet at the entrance and a white background to bring out the texture of the marble wall behind the television, the expansive effect of a large area is produced and the environment is effectively extended.Numerous mirrors are installed in the space to produce an effect that illusion is interwoven with reality, and a simple vertical body, streamlined ceiling, and softly colored bark are employed to increase the visual and path interaction. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 195 square meters/It is the Residential Space. The essence of home is a structuring of emotions, represented in the forms of warmth, affection, and harmony within the home. This project focused on how to infuse love and care into an environment. CHALLENGE: The plus symbol on the screen at the entrance symbolizes a warm and harmonious connection between father and mother, father and daughter, and mother and daughter.
