UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A multifunction toilet, combining the function of wash basin and water closet. Collect the bathing and washing water for flushing purpose.
This design is mainly concentrated in exploring some environmental
Friendly proposals for the design of modern sanitary equipment.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This design is a multi-function water closet and it composes of the upper and lower portions. It can be treated as a large capacity water tank combining the function of wash basin and water closet. It saves space and makes use of the waste water generated from the daily life for flushing purpose. The large capacity water tank can also store and make use of waste water from the bathroom equipment and other domestic consumption above.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The cocept design started in April 2015 and took 2 months. The project is yet to be realized.
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The material used for the production is ceramics, which is highly waterproof. As there are two water tanks collecting water at the same time, an automatic sensor is needed to detect and adjust the water source. It should be the essential feature of the product.

With the continuous development of industry in the society, the demand for fresh water is also increasing, and the important of saving water has been the consensus of human being nowadays. In our daily life, toilets and bathrooms are the spaces that have multi-sources of water usage. This research is mainly concentrated in exploring some environmental Friendly proposals for the design of modern sanitary equipment.
The greatest challenges or questions to this project are how to better utilize waste water in toilets. To overcome these, we have in our design combine the functions of sinks and flushing toilets to make good use of waste water from sinks and from baths. If adopted in multi-storey buildings and hotels, the product's effectiveness in recycling waste water would be especially remarkable.
