When I reserched about a way to walk, I found an interesting article. By improving the cushioning characteristic of shoes, Our way to walk become bad way. So a lot of modern people's walking way is easy to get injured. However When we walk on the beach without shoes, our way to walk become good way. So I decided to design shoes which has feeling of barefoot.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
I made an original mesh material to give breathability, flexibility and the feeling of barefoot. To make original mesh, First I give some cutting pattern on material sheet with laser cutter. And then I press the material against a shoe mold. So the mesh pattern is changed by the cutting pattern.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
First give a cutting pattern on the sheet mature with laser cutter, and then press it against the shoe mold and use the heat gun. after that attach the sole part.

The material I use can be keep the shape with heat. So It is easy to make shoe shape.

I research about how to walk and shoe history.
In order to give feel of bear foot, I made original cutting pattern. When I press the original mesh material against the shoe mold, There is completely different pattern. So I searched beautiful cutting pattern when It become 3D.
