| DESIGN NAME: Verge32 PRIMARY FUNCTION: 3-Storey Bungalow INSPIRATION: The generous ceiling height of 12' in this 3-Storey Bungalow has show the interest of developer providing the buyers a luxurious living lifestyle. The concept of Modern Classic is also favored by the surrounding residences. These are all in line to the promise of the developer to the buyers and further out-stands this development among that area. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This housing development offers a low-density neighborhood sitting on top of a hill, surrounded by lush greenery that act as a buffer zone between the city. The Bungalow aimed to showcase the concept of Modern Classic with the given ceiling height for each floor is as high as 12'. Extensive use of materials such as marbles, unique art piece and descent profile has further contribute the luxurious and glamorous ambiance of the residence. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Visitors are welcomed by the foyer with a crafted wall-piece spread along the high walls projecting itself as a portrait. At the kitchen, the distinct profile complimented with a unique olive-green kitchen cabinetry has brought a new definition of Modern Classic to the visitors. The Master Suite has a working suite, bedchamber and walk-in wardrobe made exclusively for the prime occupants. The beds in the Guest Room are mobile and flexible to receive ranges of guests spending their night. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November, 2015 and finished January, 2016 in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To avoid the over-use of intricate profile that tends to congest the space, we select only certain profile that made the classical interior style distinct from the rest, and we apply it throughout the house with an appropriate proportion with the selection of the color scheme crafted for each spaces. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The interior space of this bungalow has occupied 5,183 square feet. TAGS: Modern, Classic, Contemporary, Luxurious, Glamourous RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Various precedent studies are referred especially those abroad. Countless discussion session and consultancy were made with all the parties especially on the cabineteries details to achieve the results we intended. The design was refined from time to time and excessive details was eliminated to bring out the best of the "Modern Classic" concept. CHALLENGE: Joinery such as the ladders at the Bar in the Guest Lounge and movable bed in the Guest Room has worked out after a period of discussion among the professionals. Site coordination in order to prepare the site for the renovation is made possible with the self-less effort made by the site supervisors.
