| DESIGN NAME: Thank you PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lighting INSPIRATION: LED light has colorful sense of human emotion. It was installed at the real paper dress. LED lights have different color. It means delight and thank you. The paper dress means a bride. This is for sharing delight and good emotion each other through light from LED lighting. It can be an interior lighting as a sculpture as well. This is for using LED light with fashion items. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: LED lighting was installed at fashion items as an art product. LED lighting is made as a lamp style. But This is a real dress for an adult woman. Materials are Korean traditiona papers which are called Hanji. It was made by the same process to make a garment. Hanji is well matched for controlling the strength of LED light. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Paper textiles are very useful to make fashion items and art. This LED dress has different color, lights, movement because of patterns of lights. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It was started in march 2015 in Seoul and finished in april 2015 in Seoul. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This is for using Korean traditional paper to make grament and mixing LED light. Garment paper and wall paper were used for the dress. Red was dyed as the same way for real fabric. LED lighting is for christmas tree. It is cheap, safe and easy to buy. Paper tapes were used to fix it SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Paper clothing is beautiful and good for decoration. LED lighting shaped the real dress is unique as a lighting, a decorative craft, and a real dress to wear. It is easy to reuse or remove. Lighting dress is interesting. TAGS: paper, dress, fashion, lighting, craft, interior, lamp, decoration RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Theme is how to mix fashion and lighting. This is the breaking between fashion and lighting by paper. Paper was cutted, sewed and glued. They were garment paper, wall paper and string paper. garment paper and wall paper were for a jacket and a skirt. String paper was knitted to make lace around neck and a skirt. Red was dyed and painted into different tone. It is possible to wear and can be lighting inside the house as a craft. CHALLENGE: 100% paper is not durable to wear in daily life. But It can be worn in a few times such as wedding, party, and performance clothing. Paper is easy to make wrinkles as well. But It can be removed by ironing. It is light and touch feeling is special. It is mixed with differnet styles and created 3D digital fashion for online contents.
