| DESIGN NAME: ekin Smart Patrol PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart Patrol INSPIRATION: Over time drivers start learning about the locations of the fixed traffic systems (speed&red light enforcement, automatic plate recognition etc.) and change their behaviors accordingly, making the traffic systems ineffective. Smart Patrol is truly mobile therefore drivers cannot predict the location of the control and can easily detect speed limit violations, red light violations, and recognize faces. Smart Patrol can operate on moving or parked vehicles, people and objects. Additionally being truly mobile Smart Patrol does not require any infrastructural investments and can be placed at a location in need of surveillance and control immediately with no time required for installments. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Smart Patrol is the world's first intelligent patrol in its own concept, designed specifically for the police vehicles. System continuously reads number plates, recognizes faces and detects vehicle speeds. Smart Patrol has a compact design, offering a cost-effective solution by combining many different types of surveillance operations and applying them to moving or parked vehicles. With Smart Patrol solution, single light bars already used in police cars turn into smart security control system. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Smart Patrol has a plug&play design, which means it requires no any other equipment. Having an userfriendly interface, Smart Patrol can be controlled from a tablet. Smart Patrol provides high-end security technology with ease of use product. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: All Research&Development, Production and Design was done in Istanbul, Turkey. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Smart Patrol can detect the vehicle that is in violation and simultaneously report it to its main control center. With its feature that allows communicating between each Smart Patrol, it can instantly identify the average speed of traffic and average number of speed violations. Also, Smart Patrol is able to recognize faces in order to help incidences like suspect, wanted and lost person identification. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Smart Patrol turns a single light bar which are already used in police vehicles into smart security control systems.
