| DESIGN NAME: RealVisual 360° display PRIMARY FUNCTION: 360° Display Image INSPIRATION: An image floating in the air is everyone's dream about the future we want to make a 3D display without glasses or any other tools to show an image to multi-people standing around at the same time.Everyone can see the corresponding image from different angles. Of course, it will be helpful for people to communicate. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: RealVisual is a three-dimensional display can be observed 360°.3D object can be observed from different angles to the observer of the corresponding position, without using any tools, while allowing multi-people to watch at the same time. Users can show normal three dimensional models in an unprecedented way only use our operating software.it mainly used in computer aided design, architectural design, art design, movie and animation, shopping mall display, military sand table and etc. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Users can show normal three dimensional models in an unprecedented way only use our operating software.it mainly used in computer aided design,architectural design,art design, movie and animation,shopping mall display,military sand table and etc. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in 2015 and finished in 2016 In Wuhan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Real Visual’s a high-speed three dimensional scanning imaging system based on the DLP （digital light process）technology as the fundamental principle . We use a high speed projector ,cooperate high speed rotating screen with synchronized project technology, establish a set from the data source generation to the finally three dimensional image display system.So all the system is mainly composed of spin mechanism, high-speed projector and host computer software three parts. Mechanical part is the operation platform of the whole system , responsible for high-speed optical screen rotates, its stability and accuracy operation is the guarantee to high quality display effect .High speed projector is responsible for project images at high speed.Three dimensional model date acquisition , generate images sequence and control dates by software. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: width400mm*depth400m TAGS: volumetric 3D display,360 degree display, light field reconstruction RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Two-dimension display device has development during the past hundred years ，has variety system and category, also technology already quite mature.it development space is becoming more and more small.As the important development direction of the future. 3D display technology is being get more and more favour by people.But most of the current 3d display technology is based on the planar type parallax three-dimensional display system, rarely appears in the true sense of three-dimensional display.With the development of technology,appeared a lot new 3D display device, but subject to ultra high speed information processing system and the development level of high resolution spatial light modulator, the low resolution is common in 3D display device.Because is limited by the amount of information, how to under the condition to design the better three-dimensional display device is particularly important and meaningful. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge is to ensure the screen rotating with the project images strictly synchronization. Or it can't show images correctly. On the other hand，it's challenging(or difficult) to ensure the safety of observers when the screen is spinning at a high speed.Above all，increasing the spinning speed to improve the quality of image is one of the biggest challenge in the future.
