| DESIGN NAME: Stanley Residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Apartment INSPIRATION: We played with the simplicity of lines and used contrasting materials to bring a relaxed, modern family feel into the apartment which is situated next to the sea. We wanted the design to blend into the picturesque surrounding and the enlarged windows brings in light and a connection with the outside. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The apartment was designed to provide a comfortable home for a family and we had the aim to reflect the unique character of their daily lifestyle. We used a combination of clean lines with contrasting materials to give the space a calm, yet vibrant atmosphere. The space was designed to allow a flexibility which is most required for a young family. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2013 and finished in March 2014 in Hong Kong. |
