RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The research started with understanding one of the women issues in Middle- East, in particular in Iran, "veil" and the act of covering the hair. We tried to find the commonplaces of using the veil in West and Ovest during the centuries and the different interpretations of dressing veil through the religions and politic. The dressing veil can have different significances. We put together the need of covering the hair because of many reasons and the elegance of beautiful hats during the fashion history in contemporary context. Creating an object to wear something between turban and hat made of fabric or leather with Italian craftsmanship. For a woman/man who wants for any reason covers the hair and looking for an original way to do it. Before we started with the piece of fabric wrapped in head and tried to design each fold so that can be geometrical inspired by origami techniques. Then we fixed every fold and applied tailoring techniques to accomplish. Then we make the pattern and the sizes (small, medium, large).

CHALLENGE:
Making a hat with a rectangular fabric by precise and geometrical folds and giving humor to something with serious significant like turban.
