| DESIGN NAME: Twin Tower PRIMARY FUNCTION: 65 inch UHD TV INSPIRATION: Demand of consumers on display sizes are getting bigger every year. Purchasing a TV unit while buying a TV set is almost inevitable. In-home mobility of TVs and these units are getting remarkably low considering the growth in TV sizes. This design solution blends these considerations into one superior TV concept. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Twin tower TV is a sleek design to search for purist forms. It opens eyes for new kind of expectations in home entertainment systems. Lightness of TV has a clever emphasis on empowering mobility of TV units in home environment. It suits every living room with is unique, timeless appearance and various finishing opportunities. Thanks to stand’s design solution it can be packaged and shipped in larger amounts. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is started in June 2015 in Manisa /Turkey and finished in January 2016 at Manisa/Turkey. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: TV itself is produced as metal front cover and plastic back cover. The stand of the TV is constructed from aluminium extrusion profiles (eloxal coated) by using just one extrusion mould. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 146 x 530 x 1348 mm (Set), 1620 x 165 x 1006mm (TV box), 680 x 300 x 95mm (Stand box) TAGS: Television, Stand RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this project is to develop a sleek design solution by using local production facilities and keeping it low priced in order to create a marketable design.
