| DESIGN NAME: Great Mind PRIMARY FUNCTION: Cooking kitchen at home INSPIRATION: A’design, Italy is an international indicator for interior design. We hope to see if there is room for improvement for our design through the international competition. Besides attending the competition, we hope to have our works recognized in the grand competition. Our design is usually inspired by our affection and imagination of the space. We also take the client’s habits into consideration when we plan for our design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The grills of the ceiling are combined with iron pieces to present the most original look of the space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The transparency of the ceiling brings in the natural light freely. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the begining,we suggest used some stainless steel in space. Owners do not accept use too much. Latetr,stainless steel and delicate texture change owners minds,we feel a sense of accomplishment. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 231m2 TAGS: Stainless steel, light, fresh air, leisure, relaxing, on vacation. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Because the natural light can enter the space easily, the client does not need to turn on the light in the space often. It is more eco-friendly. CHALLENGE: At the beginning, when we suggested to include stainless steel in the space, the client was worried that it would be too cool. After we communicated with the client for several times, the client was quite assured. The introduction of stainless steel in the space increases the exquisiteness of the space and highlights the space better.
