| DESIGN NAME: Ocean Times PRIMARY FUNCTION: Comprehensive Display& Offce Area INSPIRATION: We always attach importance to reducing resources consumption, realizing efficient and convenient construction process, while breaking formalist mindset of the space, driving and conveying emotion between people and space through all-round fusion and interaction. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Open the space as much as possible with unlimited laxity and freedom to embrace everyone. Decompose the logic and recombine it to fade the trace of horizontal and vertical emphasis as well as rigorousness, taking mind of people from paying exorbitant attention to own behaviors, adjusting themselves to a state of comfort. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: site inspection to explore the max possibility of the space; based on cost, budget, engineering schedule etc. to conduct preliminary design and select a right way, to realize low cost for all the material applied, which is easy for construction and installation, creating a relax, clean and comfortable environment. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: the design starts from 10th Sep., 2014 and finished on 10th Dec. 2014 in Shanghai nearly three months. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: it is one of the commercial complex, with no regulations to follow for the space, based on this, we explore a sense of dimention. we use concrete, wood, emulsion varnish, glass for the project. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: the whole space covers 2200m2( irregular space with hight of 3.5m), most furnitures inside are designed for the spaces. there are 26 communication areas, including 26 sets of sofa and tables, all with different dimentions, making the communication more efficient TAGS: simple; artistic; rhythm; fun; color; practical;cost-effec RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Before the project, make detailed communication with using party, mainly to undertand their need and purpose as well as the plan for the project CHALLENGE: all furnitures need to be customized ADDED DATE: 2016-02-24 09:45:38 TEAM MEMBERS (1) : IMAGE CREDITS: Gu Teng , 2015. |
