PRIMARY FUNCTION:

INSPIRATION:
All Road Transform Concept is designed to change over three steps by reinterpreting a blooming into visual language based on the seasonal change. Like a petal which is changing based on the climate, this product also changes formation to strengthen its special performance in any types of road. According to the change of wheel angle, tires and vehicle are mutually interlocked which allows to improve performance of tire and usability of vehicle.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
All Road Transform Concept is a tire for four seasons for high performance vehicle which satisfies for road condition caused by climate change with one product. Tread, which is made with pad type based on the change of wheel angle, can be transformed into three forms, and it performs well in any road condition. Not only it gives the vehicle better grip on dry road but also drain performance is improved on wet road.Furthermore, it is innovative product designed to drive safely on snow/ice road

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
-Unique characteristics, which will have best performance based on type of tire, are divided into three road conditions: snow, wet and dry. - Safety issue concerning accident caused by vehicle without seasonal tire. - Safety issue concerning accident caused by vehicle without seasonal tire.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
1. Tire Design 1-1) Step.1 – For Dry roads -Tire tread : To improve high speed and cornering performance at dry road by securing contact area with road to the most / optimally and hardness of block. -Vehicle : To show stable cornering performance at the time of high-speed drive as the distance between left and right side of the tire gets broader and minimum road clearance gets lower. 1-2) Step.2 – For Wet roads -Tire tread : To improve drain performance and control hydroplaning through groove generated by formation changing of tread. -Vehicle : To use on normal and wet road as the distance between left and right side of the tire kept in a general form 1-3) Step.3 – For Snowy/Icy roads -Tire tread : To improve performance of snow elimination through groove generated by change of formation of tread. To help safety drive on snow/ice road by projecting dual spike hidden in the internal of tread To prevent slippery situation by quickly emitting ice particle generated through spike on the ice. -Vehicle : To react swiftly when exposed to dangerous situation on snowy road as the distance between left and right side of the tire gets narrower 2. Wheel Design 2-1) Color change of the wheel To contribute to a visual stability by applying external coloring to the wheel which allows to know driving environment and road condition using thermo color paint which changes the color based on the road condition and temperature variation. 3. Materials 3-1) Tread -All Season tread compound -Jointless Bead Wire & High Hardness Bead Filler -Endless, High strength Cap Ply -High Tensile Steel Belts -High Modulus Carcass -Polyester/Nylon cord -High Strength Aluminum Spike 3-2) Wheel -High Strength and High Toughness Aluminum Alloy Wheel -Thermo Color Paint

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
- Research Background : To suggest a solution with a future concept tire which enables to Satisfy three road conditions with one product by investigating tire usage environment and analyzing problems. 1)Safety issue about the accident caused by vehicle without seasonal tire. 2)Financial cost are generated due to the tire changing according to the road condition. - Methods: To convey a mutual interlocking between design language and formation, change of design based on the change of environment is reinterpreted with visual language with having a blooming process of flower as a motif.

CHALLENGE:
1. Circumference changing according to the changing of wheel angle causes crack to the tread, groove is generated and height of tire is changed. 2. To improve its unique performance related to the vehicle by moving from left to right from the central axis according to the changing of wheel angle.
