| DESIGN NAME: POLEE PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tiling INSPIRATION: I got inspired with the geometry of polygons and decided to design a tiling element that endings fit with the main shape in order to hide/minimize the tiling lines/borders. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Polee is a polygonal shaped design for interior wall tiling. Different from standard tiling shapes it has triangular endings which fit with its main polygonal design and hide/minimize the tiling lines/borders. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The borderless polygonal tiling gives continuous/seamless image and seems aesthetic in interiors. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project is designed and developed in Baku / Azerbaijan for a period of month and half. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Architecture, Building and Structure Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The shape can be used with any material in accordance with any interior elements/design. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The dimensions of width, length and height of the shape are 30cm x 30cm x 3cm respectively.
