| DESIGN NAME: Chocoben PRIMARY FUNCTION: Retail INSPIRATION: Order this project was done at the request of a woman who is one of the most famous brands of cake and cupcake designer and manufacturer in Iran. The design of the project according to her spirit and taste, as well as taking into account the requirements UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: what is eye-catching is the use of more than 400 pieces in different sizes and as parametric volume that hung from the ceiling are made of Plexiglas light volumes, among them are floodlight. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The use of color, light pink, gray, white, arrangement and composition of the interior, and combining them with various lighting creates a pleasant and specific atmosphere. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Due to the lack of large three-dimensional printer in Iran were forced to produce all the parts made of EPS and in very large pieces and then using the Hot wire cutting by hand and we do. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The shop is 34 square meters and is located in one of the most crowded streets Tehran. TAGS: Ceiling, color, Geometry, Lighting, Facade, Pink & Gray RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design of the project according to her spirit and taste, as well as taking into account the requirements and needs of each project, including the color, logo and brand, as well as considering the type of atmosphere on cake shop retail began to finally, continued on the same basis. CHALLENGE: One of the main issues was creating a visual variation of the form in a small space. In this concept, the situation of visitors in relation to the project is significant in order to understand the form as they can differently perceive the composition of colors on the pieces regarding to their position. NAME: AKAD PROFILE: Born on September 13, 1980, in Iran, Mahdi Fakhimi got a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering. After having been graduated, he started his professional career while teaching at Tehran conservatories and could receive a prize from the mayor of Tehran in the first year of his professional career He founded his first company named “Ideh-Pardazan Akad Group” in 2008 and continued his professional activity in three domains of architecture, interior design, and graphic in a legal framework. He who was writing his first book under the title of “Interior Design─From Architecture to Interior Decoration” at that time, was greeted with open arms of people, the students of interior design from universities of Iran, in particular, just after its publication. Such welcoming led to reprinting of his book in a short time. Afterward, he summoned to teach at Tehran Soore University as well as international branch of Tehran University located in Kish Island. In 2011, he inaugurated his second office called “Maan Honar Armani” while his second book under the title of “Architecture & Urban Tele-democratic”, derived from his master thesis, set out to market. Having born the excessive job preoccupation due to managing more than one hundred project works, Fakhimi resigned from teaching in 2013 and only worked as a supervisor and advisor for those students who were avidly looking forward to benefit from his knowledge for their theses. His assistance led to the student’s highest theses scores ever with A−star level in university history. Mahdi Fakhimi who also has some backgrounds in other branches of art could receive prizes in art festivals and contests, especially in photography. He was honored in sixth round of Iran Interior Design Award in 2013 as well. |
