| DESIGN NAME: EEL. Super Luxury Electric Vehicle PRIMARY FUNCTION: Electric Car INSPIRATION: I always thought Super car has dignity, not only power. and dreaming in my future, want to step red carpet after get out of a super car. Electric vehicle is getting increase and common. supper car is not a exception. I want to capture some luxurious feeling in future super car. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Super sport car styling and concept design for future. This is 3 unique point bellow. 1: Smart glass wind screen. the wind screen looks opaque but can see through outside. also display driving or entertainment information. 2: new type door. it make luxurious and unique experience for driver, also emphasis the design how use smart glass wind screen. 3: Energy is EV. Environmental super sport car. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1: Concept research and study 2: Hand drawn sketches 3: 2D Rendering(Photoshop) PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2015 in Seoul and finished in December 2015 in Toronto. CHALLENGE: Styling side, It hard to combine Powerful image with luxurious feeling, and same time it have to has Electric vehicle look. Technical side, I searched about what kind of technology need to this model come real. and I got some screen and Motor, Battery technology for my concept. I try that made hand clay model of 1/43 scale. NAME: Takbeom Heogh PROFILE: Born in 1991 in South Korea, Takbeom Heogh studying Industrial Design at Hanyang university, Korea. he had Product designer intership at Design Mu, and Digital designer internship at General Motors. He has lot of interest at Concept design for Game and movie industry. and working on freelancer concept designer since 2015. He won some of international comeptitions. one of the big thing is 3rd place at 2014 Micherlin Challenge Design and displayed his work on 2014 North American International Motor Show. |
