| DESIGN NAME: Swans in Love PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perfume Pendant INSPIRATION: Inspired by a book written in 1027 that tells the story of a love chain on the neck and never taken off until death, the perfume necklace expresses the unity of two souls, just as the book describes. Connected to each other with an invisible love chain, the female and male swans symbolize eternal love. Swans also represent a divine beauty through mesmerizing and poetic grace that is displayed only for the lover they choose. The stones in the design complete the story. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Jewelry, perfume, love and memories, a woman's four passions, come to life in a single design. Always carry your loved ones with you by putting their scent, or your favorite scent, inside the tiny perfume bottle pendant, the "Swans in Love" with its tiny funnel. The design puts emphasis on eternal love and unity of two souls, and the reason for creating a toy like perfume pendant as a piece of jewelry is the scents that play a major role in love and human psychology. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: An intricate detail of the perfume bottle pendant is the necklace, which can be worn any time of the day with a long chain. It develops an emotional bond with the owner, providing a personal experience with the piece it holds from that special person. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The "Swans in Love" pendant is a part of the Scent of Love collection designed in 2011. It became available at our store as a functioning luxury playful jewelry in the hands of master jewelry craftsmen in 2012. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The perfume pendant is made from 18K rose gold in white diamonds, black diamonds, emeralds and tourmalines. Each of the 18 ct gold and silver perfume bottle pendants come with a miniature funnel to fill in the perfume of your loved one. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Necklace; 15 g , Funnel; 2,5 gr. 0,10ct Diamond, 0,10ct Emerald, 0,65 ct Pink Tourmaline. Pendant Height; 4,9cm. CHALLENGE: Master jewelry craftsmen worked for this special design as it is a miniature object that can actually be used, in addition to being a piece of jewelry. Micro-crimped diamonds are used to piece together various parts of the bottle. Even the cone in the background is made up of two pieces so as to prevent any damage to it during use or while carrying it around.
