RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The design of this ring as a contemporary version of a naja serpent. In Egypt lie the lost roots of Christian wisdom, serpents were commonly used in alabaster vases during the reign of the Pharaohs. Iareret, the naja serpent, was the symbol of divine protection for the royal authority. Symbol of royalty, spiritual evolution, Kundalini. Power that protected the source of life and immortality and a symbol used on the pharaohs headdresses.

CHALLENGE:
College rings, especially for law students, are generally very traditional and the idea was to design a contemporary piece of jewelry with a set of symbols represented by the square, the ring never closes itself, the cabouchon ruby, the movement in the swiveling diamonds, the naja serpent and the straight lines representing life and its pathway. Graduation year in 2015 plus give 8, represented by the eight swiveling diamonds. Number eight is also the symbol for infinity, money and abundance.
