| DESIGN NAME: DAZZ360 Rotating Ironing Board PRIMARY FUNCTION: Flipping both-side ironing board INSPIRATION: Virtually every consumer product has been improved for better functionality and design, while the ironing board has remained relatively unchanged since its inception. Everyone that has used a traditional ironing board understands how they can be cumbersome and difficult. We challenged traditional design and based our ironing board around the shape of the human torso. Our ergonomic design allows cloths to lay neatly on the board for easy and effective ironing. Then, instead of constantly moving your cloths around board, iron one side of your clothing and then let the ironing board roll over to complete the other side. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Dazzl Ironing Board is a patented new product that will totally change the way you iron. It features a 360 degree rotating board that makes it easier and faster to iron. This innovative ironing system features both curved and flat sides, special pant clips and a detail board for ironing collars, sleeves and cuffs. EZ lock mechanism for convenient folding and storage. The Dazzl Ironing Board has (8) height adjustments, enabling the consumer to iron from a seated position particularly helpful to the elderly and a 360 degree pivoting cage considering left handed and right handed. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Dazzl ironing board conforms to your shirt the same way your body conforms to the shirt. Iron for back side of shirt first and then flip the board over and the front side is ready for easy ironing. The detail board will enables you to quickly iron sleeves and cuffs. It takes just 3 minutes to iron an entire shirt. Jackets can be done with same way. This board also has a unique pants clip feature which holds the end of the trouser for ease in ironing a perfect crease. The board has 8 height ironing position and it easily folds for quick storage. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in March of 2003 by Mr.Kibeom Lee, founder and CEO of Dazzl co., ltd with the simple idea of an ironing board designed like the human body. It required countless hours of research and development, nearly two years before the first version was launched in 2005. Now, in 2016, the fifth generation has been brought to market. There are many upgrades from the first iteration. We are excited to be able to present this revolutionary ironing board. Now consumers can comfortably handle all their ironing needs. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Unique metal âTâ joint combines the steel frame tubes through the assembling machine providing a sturdy support for the ironing board. The need for welding or punching holes in the frame structure is totally eliminated. From a manufacturing point of view, the design provides a cost effective item that can be mass produced without incurring high labor costs. Production can effectively and efficiently ramp up with increasing consumer demand. Detail board for ironing detailed part such as sleeve easily . 8 level height level adjustment supporting any position, on chair or on stand . Pants clip making pants crease easily . 360 rotational iron pocket for right handed, left handed user . Hanger tube for after ironed cloths . Self-standing for easy storage. There is not another product like it anywhere in the world. We have developed a frame structure that provides a pivoting both sides board top that safely supports multilevel height adjustments. This was the most difficult design challenge that we had to solve. With 7 years of research and development, including significant feedback from customers and users, we created the current frame solution. The other challenge we had to contend with was designing an ironing board that would be priced at an acceptable level with consumers. We eliminated some of the costly processes associated with building a traditional ironing board. With our unique âTâ joint assembly and our patented core mechanism, this ironing board is free from traditional metal processes. The additional unique features such as pants clip, detachable detail board, 360 degree rotating iron cage all make the Dazzl360 ironing board the most innovative ironing board available. The Dazzl ironing board has been 13 years in the making. We are proud to share it with you!
