INSPIRATION:
As a protest of old and chunky office phones with small displays, Vox aims to provide a high tech digital device with a smooth conferencing experience.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Videophone design for Voxporta Inc. aims to revitalize the stationary phone as multi-functional and stylish office equipment. Mainly oriented to the senior manager and top executives, it is designed to integrate voice and video communications into one center. Combining elegant design with cutting edge technology, the videophone is available in two models with 8” and 10” touchscreen LCDs.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The phone is touchscreen and controlled through its interface, yet allows traditional voice calls with its handset as well. The handset is controlled through a magnetic

The project started in August 2014 in Ankara and finished in 2015.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Voxporta is the shell under which ideas come to life and take the shape of a simple solution for a user. Aim was to create platforms that bring together everyday communication needs such as phone, e-mail, web, fax, video conference, storage and more.
CHALLENGE:
LeapVox Video IP Phone with 8" and 10" touchscreen IPS LED display & bluetooth handset option was developed as a product within LeapVox product family that allows video and phone calls.

PROFILE:
Voxporta, a subsidiary of Evregroup, was set up in 2010 based on a bet to squeeze a cabinet full of communication devices at our office down to an acceptable size for small businesses.
To that end, our first product LEAPvoX® was launched in 2012. It is a unique “all-in-one” solution in combining many functions into one small box. All your e-mail, internet and telephone communication needs are met by one single device which handles everything while you do what you do best.
We were able to utilize the same patent pending approach in bigger systems, which led to the introduction of LEAPvoX® Enterprise line of products that can serve a wider audience; from a few hundred users to organizations that employ thousands. We have also added advanced fax and video conferencing systems to offer our customers the same “all-in-one” solution on a much larger scale, without compromising simplicity, affordability and expandability.
