DESIGN NAME: Coexistence

INSPIRATION: The design of the architecture takes the advantage of its proximity to the water, and its location to view the ripples, sky lights and the lush vegetation. The architecture is an interpretation of abstract and great design concepts into a dialogue with life materialized with the ripples of water, the dancing of the lights and shadows that speak of the understated beauty.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design is to pursue a dynamic and true order consisting of harmony, coexistence, and balance with the nature by merging the green environment, sunshine, and air as design elements. It aims at the making of a living which is conducive to the inner peace of mind.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design pays equal emphasis to lights, form, and style. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This design is based on a “human” and “space” relationship. The owner loves traveling in cities around the world and appreciates modern minimalism. The designer used a concept of subtraction, removing the elaborations and details that were not necessary. Space is built with a background of sky and mountains, freeing up the natural light into the living area. The color scheme changes as the color of the sky. Plants are placed at varied heights to create a feeling of nature indoors. Indoor plants exude a soothing atmosphere, interweaving in a relaxing and cozy home.
CHALLENGE: The traditional way of diving spaces has been replaced, blending different zones with no walls but rounded routes. Space is differentiated by using various floorboard materials and ceiling heights. The hidden details create an extensive perspective from area to area.
