| DESIGN NAME: LOOP PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: River flows eastward and leaves fall in profusion. The scene of “four hundred eight temples built in the Southern Dynasties bathing in misty rain” (Southern Spring by Du Mu in Tang Dynasty) has long been buried in oblivion in history, but people in Jinling still take delight in talking about the legend on “cloud light”, associating it with the gift of nature Yuhau Stone. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Cultural inheritance is another highlight of this design. After thinking seriously about the enterprise culture of Zendai group, the designer incorporates simple ideas in modern times into abstract Chinese elements, creating the uniqueness of space using fashionable ways. For instance, “deep well” modelling is adopted in the upward side of sand table. Simplified upright modeling is painted with vermeil emulsion paint, which is inspired by the Chinese character “回, implying concepts such as “home” and “reincarnation” and embodying the essence of Chinese culture. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Nanjing is an ancient city in China, and it is also the capital of six dynasties in history. This project's spirit given by us in this city must be the fusion of traditional Chinese philosophy and modernism and the concept of environmental protection. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Marble, paint, stainless steel, artificial stone, glass SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This is a three-floor oval-shaped building, it is about 800 square metres, Width 14m, Length 38 m , Height 12m,the space is used as a real-estate sales center, it includes meeting rooms, vip rooms and offices for staff etc. TAGS: loop,Streamline, simplicity, speed, environmental protection RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The first and second floor of the building are a misplaced space, and there is transparent glass all round. We want to blend the indoor and outdoor landscape together, so we extend the outdoor terrace pavement to indoor area. CHALLENGE: We ingeniously apply a sensemaking way in Chinese literature, metaphorically express the image that the house selling club wants the buyers to return home. Returning is a pictograph, and its meaning is returning home and coming back, and it is also a meaning of recycling. We use the multi-layered combination and overlap of air-conditioning outlet, light belt, light membrane and red coating on the ceiling right above the model sand table to perfectly complete the abstract manifestation of the word returning. NAME: TU POCHUN PROFILE: General manager of PRID International interior Design Tutored by Tu Wenzheng, master designer from Taiwan, Tu po chun has studied in Europe, US and Japan. Since he joined the industry 25 years ago, he has always insisted on incorporating his perspectives towards life into his design, which has strong characteristics and demonstrates Eastern aesthetic preferences. His works are rich in cultural depths. Over the last 10 years, he received many awards , and held various design contest Review , because of its achievements and contributions in the interior design, was elected by the United States, "Interior Design" magazine Chinese version of "2014-2015 China Interior Design Annual Cover character, ever since the establishment of PRID international interior Design Ltd. in Shanghai in the year of 2004. |
