| DESIGN NAME: weatherproof PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kids Shoes INSPIRATION: Buying one pair of shoes, with three features , keep shoes away form the ravages of wind and rain. The parents will not need buying other shoes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Kids shoes designer was inspired by disassemble and multifunction, two ideas. According to the weather, in the same shoes, there are three kinds of shoes in one. Turn down collar is good for the sunny day, in the cold and windy day, user can put the tube on , shoes will with warm and windproof function. The third performance is for outdoor and raining day, kids can open the structure on the top-line, and use the velcro to fixed raincoat on vamp, keep shoes from getting wet. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: According to the weather, in the same shoes, there are features in one. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Designer come out the draft, then mark material and color.Use Nappa Leather, Full-Grain Leather and airmesh, with hard and soft outsole. Turndown collar is use for casual look. Designer plan the structure on the topline, and use the velcro to fixed raincoat on vamp , make shoes becomes boots, use buckle to fastening the heel on body, the raincoat is use water repellent fabric, use airmesh take raincoat in. When everything ready, pattern-maker will refer shoe last to platemaking, then sample room will finish it. The shoes is absolutely can mass production. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: JP28, W180mm, D80mm, H850mm. Main material is genuine Nappa Leather, Full-Grain Leather and airmesh to increase comfort and keep water-wind proof. TAGS: Waterproof, raincoat, rain boots, warm and keep out cold, 3 kinds of shoes in on, removable RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Designer idea comes out from afternoon thunderstorms day, kids wear rain-boots , and soon be sunny. rain-boots were made by plastic, too hard and too airtight for them. According the idea, designers speak to some parents, in order to collect demands and opinions, base on the experience , team member try to rearrange the structure of casual shoe and boots, to find some space hiding raincoat. CHALLENGE: It's hard to combine three ideas in one design, and come out form different material. Clobber have to think though 3D dimensions and count out it. That's will make shoes easy to wear for kids.
