| DESIGN NAME: Winter Oxford PRIMARY FUNCTION: Functional winter boot. INSPIRATION: Over the past centuries, fashion is regarded as woman patent. By the popularization of aesthetics awareness, dress-up is not only for woman but also for man, representing an icon to show personal taste and pursuit of life aesthetics. Winter Oxford is inspired by commuters in winter. In the clammy weather, normal shoes are so easily getting wet and dirty that could make peoples’ feet cold. To solve these problems, Winter Oxford is designed to be water resistant and warm, also with clean and beautiful look. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Urban fashion Winter Oxford is a combination of stylish Oxford and thermo-protective boots. For function, comfortable genuine leather and warmth high ankle boots also reflect the function needs and desire for physical and mental satisfaction. To increase the warmth retention properties, Winter Oxford extends the boot height and is made of water resistant dark leather. For comfort, Winter Oxford uses flexible and soft neoprene in the foam padded collar so that it’s easier for the wearer to move ankle. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Winter Oxford varies with different winter clothes to express seasonable looks and personal style. Take yuppie for example, both elegance and whims. 1. Wearer could adjust the tightness while tying shoelaces. 2. Winter Oxford is goes well with narrow-legged trousers tuck in the shoes. Whiling with wide-legs, it’s better not to tuck in the Winter Oxford. Winter Oxford easily goes with any kind of style for the personal preference. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Winter Oxford inherits hand-made craft and precise production process. The manufacturing procedure is inclusive of manual pattern-making adjustment, digital process like semi-auto sewing process, laser cutting by senior technician. Furthermore, to guarantee the quality, parts of making process are still hand-made by senior shoes maker, also providing customized service with particular leather like the water resistant neoprene. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: EU 42 : 265mm Main material is genuine leather with parts of Neoprene to increase comfort and keep wearer warm.
