| DESIGN NAME: Aura Cebilon Unique PRIMARY FUNCTION: Reverse Osmosis System INSPIRATION: Reverse osmosis water treatment sytems take up a lot of space under the sink because of storage tank that is outside of the devices. So they don’t seem elegant. Also there can be water leakages in this devices. In addition filters are changed at fix intervals. Even if the device little used. Besides, in reverse osmosis devices filter changes are too difficult. Generally, filter dimension of different reverse osmosis devices is same. So imitated poor quality filters can be installed to device. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is more compact with interior storage tank. Filter change are very easy with removable covers and special filter design. Lives of the filters can be checked as gallon on the digital control panel. It gives change time warning. In peers, even if the device is little-used, filters are changed at fixed interval. In the case of water leakage, it gives warning and prevents flood. It was designed based on only original filter change so it prevents imitated cheap filters changes. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The product have 5 filtration stage. A sediment filter to trap big particles, granule activated carbon filter to trap organic chemicals and chlorine, block carbon filter to trap organic chemicals and chlorine and carbon dust that may escape from the second stage, reverse osmosis membrane to remove many types of molecules and ions from water, including bacteria, mineralized post carbon filter remove remaining tastes and odors from the product water, adds healthy minerals to the water. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey and finished in July 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We use plastic injection to produce plastic parts. Some of them are produced with masterbatch and some of them are painted electrostatically. We weld the filter housings and caps with spin welding. Also we use ultrasonic welding in our devices. We use serigraphy for labeling. Our device has a pressure pump that need 24 VDC electricity. Also it doesn’t work when our storage tank is filled. So it is energy saving. We use solenoid valve when to cut water inlet when tank is filled, water leakage occurs. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions, 260 x 490 x 425. 13.56 kg weight, 24 VDC Voltage, 250 liters per day drinking water production capacity, %96-98 filtration/rejection rate.
